PURPOSE: Resin lenses of spectacles and a detergent of cleaning a die for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent environmental pollution by using an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: A detergent for cleaning a die is obtained by stirring alkaline chemicals of 5 to 32 weight percents, water of 59.9 to 35 weight percents, a high boiling point alcohol of 35 to 3 weight percents, a surface active agent of 0.1 to 10 weight percents, and a low boiling point alcohol of 0.1 to 10 weight percents. The alkaline chemicals are selected from potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, sodium silicate pentahydrate, sodium silicate. The high boiling point alcohol is selected from polypropylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, and hexylene glycol. The low boiling point alcohol is formed with ethanol and methanol.
