PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lance structure which is usable at an extremely high temperature by cooling component parts with water from the inside. SOLUTION: The device for injecting gas into a vessel includes a lance 26 having a gas flow extending duct 31 which extends in a longitudinal direction from rear end to a front end 36 where the gas is released. Swirling flow imparting vanes 39 are disposed at an extending body 38 arranged within the front end of the duct in order to impart swirling to the released gas. A front end member 44 is cooled from the inside by the water flowing through supply reflux paths 52 and 56. The cooling water flows in internal cooling water paths 66, 75, 76 and 87 within the vanes 39 and the central extending body 38 through the water supply reflux path 60 of the duct.
