PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device with which recording, printing, etc., of endoscope images are made possible by simple operation involving the manual operation of peripheral apparatus on the endoscope side (video camera side). SOLUTION: This endoscope device has the endoscope having an objective optical system at the front end of a tubular section and an operation section at the other end, an imaging means for converting the images formed by the objective optical system to electronic images and the peripheral apparatus using these electronic images. The endoscope device described above has an operation switch to control the peripheral apparatus in the operation section of the endoscope or near the same and has a signal transmission means which radio transmits the electronic image signals and is disposed at the endoscope and a signal reception means which receives the radio signals and outputs the signals to the peripheral apparatus.
