PROPYLENE/ETHYLENE BLOCK COPOLYMER, RESIN COMPOSITION AND BLOW-MOLDED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propylene/ethylene block copolymer which gives a blow- molded body not only good in heat resistance, rigidity, impact resistance and draw-down resistance but also excellent in the balance particularly between rigidity and low temperature barrier characteristics and to provide a blow- molded body. SOLUTION: The propylene/ethylene block copolymer has an MFR of 0.01-1.0 g and comprises (A) 85-97 wt.% of 25 deg.C xylene-insoluble components and (B) 15-3 wt.% of 25 deg.C xylene-soluble components, where the component (A) has a stereoregularity index of at least 98.0% as measured by 13C-NMR, an intrinsic viscosity of [η] of 2.5-5.5, and a weight-average mol.wt.(Mw) as measured by the GPC method and a content (S) (wt.%) of components having a mol.wt. of 104.5 or less satisfying the relation: S<=-5.3×10-6Mw+7.58, and the component (B) has an ethylene unit content of 30-70 wt.% as measured by 13C-NMR and an intrinsic viscosity [η] of 2.5-9.0.
