PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ink scraping performance and durability compared to a conventional wiping roller, in the wiping roller made up of a PVC pasty resin and a metallic oxide added to the former. SOLUTION: A PVC pasty resin, a plasticizer and a metallic oxide as materials for the wiping roller, are scaled, stirred, kneaded and defoamed, and this mixture is applied to the surface of a foundation in the form of a thin coating film and a heating reaction is repeated. Finally a polishing operation is performed to obtain the wiping rollers.
