SUPERCRITICAL WATER REACTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercritical water reacting apparatus provided with a pressure balancing reactor having a new structure where the problem of the corrosion of an outer shell body is resolved. SOLUTION: The main part 60 of the apparatus is provided with the pressure balancing reactor 61 having the new structure and the reactor is formed as a double cylindrical body consisting of an outer cylindrical body 62 which is a pressure vessel and made of high strength steel and a reaction cartridge 64 which is stored within the outer cylindrical body 62 as an inner cylindrical body and made of a titanium alloy. A reaction region 66 is formed in the inner part of the reaction cartridge and pressure balancing air is stored in an annular part 68 between the reaction cartridge and the outer cylindrical body. The reaction cartridge does not communicate with and is completely shut out of the inner part of the outer cylindrical body, that is the annular part. A two fluids nozzle 70 connected to a tube 22 for liquid to be treated and an air introducing tube 26 is penetrated into an upper part of the reaction cartridge and the liquid to be treated is splayed with the air to be introduced into the reaction region in the reaction cartridge. An air introducing branched tube 56 is connected to the annular part to introduce the pressure balancing air to the annular part and a gas exhausting tube 84 joins a treated liquid tube 14.
