PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sport shoes which can ensure air permeability. SOLUTION: In this pair of sport shoes, at the heel section in a mid sole 3 constituted of a soft elastic member, a corrugated sheet 4 is inserted. Then, at a location wherein the mid sole 3 comes into contact with the corrugated sheet 4, a plurality of lateral holes 6 and 7 are formed. At the same time, through holes 10 and 11, which extend vertically while communicating with the lateral holes 6 and 7, are formed. In this case, the outside air flows into the shoes through the lateral holes 6 and 7 and the through holes 10 and 11, and air permeability especially at the heel section in the shoes can be obtained. In addition, by the working of the corrugated sheet 4, the shape of the lateral holes 10 and 11 is retained in this case, and even when an impact load is applied to the mid sole 3 when the shoes touch the ground, the lateral holes 6 and 7 are prevented from being crushed. Thus, the air permeability can be ensured even in the sport shoes.
