PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diazo thermal recording medium good in sharpness and light fastness. SOLUTION: In the diazo thermal recording medium wherein a thermal recording layer containing at least one kind of a diazo compound and at least one kind of a coupler reacting with the diazo compound to develop a color is provided on a support, at least one kind of a compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; R2 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; and either one of R1 and R2 is an aryl group) is added as the coupler. |
