PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a usual manufacture of kiln-tone-changed tiles that skill of a high degree is demanded therefor and that the greatest possible care is requested even for a skilled person to manufacture the kiln-tone- changed tiles having desired colorations with a change of a pattern in the kiln and the nonuniformity of firing lessened. SOLUTION: At least two kinds of clay are supplied to a clay kneading machine and transferred toward a mouthpiece, while they are mixed. A long length of raw ground wherein the two kinds of clay, at least, are mixed randomly is extruded from the mouthpiece sequentially and cut in prescribed dimensions so that the raw ground be produced. Then, tile bodies are formed by forming and a large number of sheets of dried ground are brought into the kiln, fired therein for coloration and cooled. Accordingly, the kiln-tone-changed tiles having desired colorations different in tones can be manufactured reliably and by means of a simple mechanism. Any person can manufacture the kiln-tone-changed tiles having desired colorations. These tiles can be manufactured with an excellent yield.
