A remotely controllable circuit breaker has a set of secondary contacts in series with the main contacts and which can be opened and closed from a remo te location by a magnetically latchable solenoid. A pivotally mounted operating member/indicator member coupled to the plunger of the solenoid by a non-magnetic pin has an extension which projects through an opening in the circuit breaker housing to provide an indication of the open/closed state of the set of secondary contacts and an operator fo r manually closing them.
