A thiochromanpyrazole derivative of the general formula I: or a salt thereof wherein R<1> is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; R<2> is a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<1> and X<4> is independently one member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<5>, X<6>, X<7> and X<8> is independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; L is a group of a -CH- or -CH2- formula optionally substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl; -------- is an optional double bond; Q is a hydrogen atom or a group of -A-B [in which A is one member selected from the group consisting of -SO2-, -CO- and -CH2CO-, B is one member selected from the group consisting of a C1-C8 alkyl group, a C3-C8 cycloalkyl group and a group of the formula (V): wherein Y is a halogen atom, a nitro group, a C1-C4 alkyl, a C1-C4 alkoxy or a C1-C4 alkyl halide; m is 0, 1 or 2]; n is 0, 1 or 2; k is 0 or 1; providing that in case L is a group of a -CH- formula optionally substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl, than -------- is a double bond and k is 0; and in case L is a group of a -CH2- formula optionally substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl, than -------- is a single bond, k is 1 and X<5> and X<7> except for the cases stated above may form an unsaturated bond by bonding to each other. 2. The pyrazole derivative according to Claim 1 of the formula (I-B): wherein R<1> is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; R<2> is a C1-C4 alkyl group; L is a group of a -CH- formula optionally substituted with a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl; each of X<1> and X<4> is independently one member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<6>, X<7> and X<8> is independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; Q is a hydrogen atom or a group of -A-B [in which A is one member selected from the group consisting of -SO2-, -CO- and -CH2CO-, B is one member selected from the group consisting of a C1-C8 alkyl group, a C3-C8 cycloalkyl group and a group of the formula (V): (in which Y is one member selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, a nitro group, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group and a C1-C4 haloalkyl group, and m is an integer of 0, 1 or 2)]; and n is 0, 1 or 2, or the salt thereof. 3. The pyrazole derivative of the formula (I-B) or the salt thereof according to Claim 2, wherein n is 0. 4. The pyrazole derivative of the formula (I-B) or the salt thereof according to Claim 2, wherein each of X<1> and X<4> is independently a C1-C4 alkyl group. 5. The pyrazole derivative according to Claim 1 of the formula (I-C): or the salt thereof, wherein R<1> is a a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; R<2> is a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<1> and X<4> is independently one member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<5>, X<6>, X<7> and X<8> is independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; or X<5> and X<7> may form an unsaturated bond by bonding to each other; Q is a hydrogen atom or a group of -A-B [in which A is one member selected from the group consisting of -SO2-, -CO- and -CH2CO-, B is one member selected from the group consisting of a C1-C8 alkyl group, a C3-C8 cycloalkyl group and a group of the formula (V): (in which Y is one member selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, a nitro group, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group and a C1-C4 haloalkyl group, and m is an integer of 0, 1 or 2)]; and n is 0, 1 or 2, or the salt thereof. 6. The pyrazole derivative of the formula (I-C) or the salt thereof according to Claim 5, wherein X<1> is a C1-C4 alkyl group and X<4> is a C1-C4 alkyl group. 7. The pyrazole derivative of the formula (I-C) or the salt thereof according to Claim 5, wherein n is 0 or 2. 8. The pyrazole derivative according to Claim 1 of the formula (I-D): wherein R<1> is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; R<2> is a C1-C4 alkyl group; L is a group of a -CH2- formula substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<1> and X<4> is independently one member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<5>, X<6>, X<7> and X<8> is independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; or X<5> and X<7> may form an unsaturated bond by bonding to each other; Q is a hydrogen atom or a group of -A-B [in which A is one member selected from the group consisting of -SO2-, -CO- and -CH2CO-, B is one member selected from the group consisting of a C1-C8 alkyl group, a C3-C8 cycloalkyl group and a group of the formula (V): (in which Y is one member selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, a nitro group, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group and a C1-C4 haloalkyl group, and m is an integer of 0, 1 or 2)]; and n is 0, 1 or 2, or the salt thereof. 9. The pyrazole derivative of the formula (I-D) or the salt thereof according to Claim 8, wherein each of X<1> and X<4> is independently a C1-C4 alkyl group. 10. The pyrazole derivative of the formula (I-D) or the salt thereof according to Claim 8, wherein L is a group of a -CH2- formula substituted with a C1-C4 alkyl group. 11. The pyrazole derivative of the formula (I-D) or the salt thereof according to Claim 10, wherein L is a group of a -CH2- formula substituted with methyl or ethyl. 12. An aromatic carboxylic acid derivative of the formula (II): or a salt thereof, wherein L is a group of a -CH- or a -CH2- formula optionally substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; -------- is an optional double bond; each of X<1> and X<4> is independently one member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<5>, X<6>, X<7> and X<8> is independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; n is 0, 1 or 2, k is 0 or 1; providing that in case L is a group of a -CH- formula optionally substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group, than -------- is a double bond and k is 0; and in case L is a group of a -CH2- formula optionally substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group, than -------- is a single bond, k is 1 and X<5> and X<7> except for the cases stated above may form an unsaturated bond by bonding to each other. 13. An aromatic carboxylic acid derivative according to Claim 12 of the formula (II-B): wherein L is a group of a -CH- formula optionally substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<1> and X<4> is independently one member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<6>, X<7> and X<8> is independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; and n is 0, 1 or 2, or the salt thereof. 14. An aromatic carboxylic acid derivative according to Claim 12 of the formula (II-C): wherein L is a group of a -CH2- formula; each of X<1> and X<4> is independently one member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<5>, X<6>, X<7> and X<8> is independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; or X<5> and X<7> may form an unsaturated bond by bonding to each other; and n is 0, 1 or 2, or the salt thereof. 15. An aromatic carboxylic acid derivative according to Claim 12 of the formula (II-D): wherein L is a group of a -CH2- formula substituted with a halogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<1> and X<4> is independently one member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom and a C1-C4 alkyl group; each of X<5>, X<6>, X<7> and X<8> is independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group; or X<5> and X<7> may form an unsaturated bond by bonding to each other; n is 0, 1 or 2, or the salt thereof. 16. A herbicide composition including an active component and specific admixtures according to any one of Claims 1-11, which composition comprises an effective amount of the pyrazole derivative or the salt thereof as an active component. |
