The joint for a precision tool comprises a cylinder (6) with reinforced central section. This is mounted on stub axles (8) in roller bearings (10). A third roller bearing (13) is mounted in the cylinder with inner (14) and outer (16) raceways which are at an angle to its axis. This bearing can swivel about an axis at right angles to its surface (Y) and carries a rod (19) which can swivel with it. |
