<p>PURPOSE:To achieve the enhancement of treatment efficiency and the stabilization of treatment in the treatment of org. waste water due to biological treatment wherein anaerobic treatment and activated sludge treatment or aerobic treatment such as nitrification/denitrification treatment are combined. CONSTITUTION:The amount of the methane gas generated from an anaerobic treatment tank 2 is measured by a gas meter 4 and a gas analyser 5 and, from the amount of the methane gas and the raw water flow rate F1 of the anaerobic treatment tank 2, the BOD5 concn. of raw water is calculated by an operational control unit 6 and, on the basis of the BOD5 concn., the flow rate F2 of the raw water bypassing the anaerobic treatment tank is controlled.</p> |
