PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating chuck jaw usable in combination with another similar chuck jaw in order to provide good electrical insulation for the inside of a chuck jaw assembly. SOLUTION: The chuck jaw 22 is structured and arranged to be used in combination with another chuck jaw in order to certainly hold a rotatable accessory such as a drill bit at a home position in the chuck assembly. The chuck jaw 22 comprises a chuck jaw body 42 that defines a generally longitudinal axis to its primary extension direction, and a chuck jaw tip part 44 that is placed in the chuck jaw body 42 and extends along at least a part of the generally longitudinal axis of the chuck jaw body 42. The chuck jaw 22 further comprises an insulating material 46 for preventing electrical current from passing through the chuck jaw 22 between the rotatable accessory and the other part of the chuck jaw body 42. |
