PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a beautiful skin safely by inducing a stable, efficient ultrasonic vibration giving a mist condition via a low power consumption and applying the ultrasonic vibration to the skin. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 10 is so designed that an ultrasonic vibrating element 18, when driven, induces an ultrasonic vibration on a second surface of an insulating material base 16 opposite to a first surface thereof to which the ultrasonic vibrating element is attached. The insulating material is glass or a precious stone material such as rock crystal.
