VIBRATION CONTROL DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device for an elevator capable of generation of resonance and damage of a main rope and of easy adjustment. SOLUTION: A weight 8 is suspended from a lower end of a shackle rod 9B into which a hitch beam 11 of a lower part of a car 6 penetrates from above. The weight 8 has a decreased height from a pit 1a and a height of a work table installed in the pit 1a becomes lower, thereby increasing safety of work upon installation and adjustment. In comparison with the case that a weight is fixed to a main rope 7, the main rope 7 is not damaged and sure fixation can be made.
