PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, lightweight and excellently manageable hull propelling machine. SOLUTION: A propelling part 106 for housing a motor-driven pump for arranging a water supply port and a water discharge port on both ends is arranged in a tip part of a rod part 104 freely rotatable around the extending directional axis by extending downward from a base part 103 installed on the hull 101 by an installing part, and the rod part 104 can be freely rotated by an operation part 105 arranged on the other end of the rod part 104. When starting the motor-driven pump, water supplied from the water supply port is sent to the water discharge port to thereby generate propulsion, and this propulsion can be made to act on the hull 101. The direction of the propelling part 106 is changed by rotating the rod part 104 around the axis by operation by the operation part 105 to thereby change the propelling direction of the hull 101.
