PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a rise portion for setting free a roof board member from the head portion of a nail fixing a retainer to the backing side of the roof, thereby making the height of the roof board member as low as possible. SOLUTION: The retainer mutually connection the roof board members 1 has a fixed portion 5a, first and second folded portions 5b, 5c erected at both sides of the fixed portion 5a, and a returned portion 5d connected to these folded portions 5b, 5c, and the fixing portion 5a is fixed to a roof backing 201 with a nail 203. At the inner side of the returned portion 5d of the upper end of the first folded portion 5b, an upper end portion of a portion 3 to be linked of other roof board member 1 is inserted and linked. At the lower end of a returned portion 5d connected to the upper end of the second folded portion 5c of the clamp 5, a return portion 4a of one side portion of the lower portion of a cap portion 4b of the other roof board member 1 is pushed to the roof backing 201. A hook-shaped folded portion 4c at the other lower end side is linked to the third folded portion 3c of the portion 3 to be linked.
