PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium reproducing device capable of realizing smooth and effective cross-fading by a simple method. SOLUTION: On the track of a fade-out side, as indicated in (A), face-out reproduction is performed for 10 seconds from the moment 15 seconds before a track end position and the succeeding 5 seconds are turned to the part not to be reproduced. On the track of a face-in side, as indicated in (B), fade-in reproduction is performed for 10 seconds from the moment where 5 seconds has elapsed from a track start position and the first 5 seconds are turned to the part not to be reproduced. An operation diagram in which the sound signals of face-in and fade-out are mixed appears as (C), and even when a silent part is present at the head or end of a piece of music, cross-fading hardly generating the silent part is performed.
