PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system employing a high-speed and high-quality ring optical network that can easily be installed, extended and maintained. SOLUTION: The ring optical network is configured by interconnecting transmission communication nodes with an optical fiber. Various nodes in a central information center are designed to have same shape and entirely the same wiring. Each node id stacked in a space of an integrated rack. Thus, the space can effectively be used, the nodes, servers and wire frames are placed integrally to simply and easily conduct installation and maintenance. Furthermore, nodes playing different roles with the same shape can considerably enhance the job efficiency. Since ring networks are independently functioned, the versatility is much enhanced. Through the configuration above, the ring networks can be functioned with a very simple configuration. |
