PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution processing system where trouble such as down in a whole system does not occur even when a server goes down without using server multiplexing technique and also to provide a client to be used for the system. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a server function for performing a processing in fat clients 10a and 11a among a plurality of POS clients 10a, 10b, 10c, ... and 11a, 11b, 11c, ... which are serially connected to constitute the system in accordance with the requests of thin clients 10b, 10c,..., 11b, 11c, ...and for outputting the processing result to the thin clients which make the requests. They are independently operated. |
