<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a bright big screen image by a large-sized liquid crystal display device good in angle-of-view characteristics, inexpensive in manufacturing cost, small in power consumption and light in weight, with little display unevennesss. SOLUTION: In a side edge lamp system back light of the liquid crystal display device, a transparent light transmission plate is the plane in a surface of a liquid crystal panel side, has a groove structure of a chevron shape where the thickness of the light transmission plate of a central part of a picture is thin in the surface of the opposite side at the side of the liquid crystal panel, and the blast processing to make the irregular reflection of the light is performed in either the planar surface or the surface of the chevron shape.</p> |
