METHOD FOR RAPIDLY MEASURING EXCHANGEABLE CALCIUM AMOUNT OF SOIL BY USING SPECTROPHOTOMETER

PURPOSE: A method for rapidly measuring exchangeable calcium amount of soil is provided to achieve improved convenience and promptness, while eliminating the danger of explosion. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of precipitating exchangeable calcium contained in a soil by using an ammonium acetate solution; a second step of adding mixture of ethanol-distilled water to the precipitation; a third step of making the solution alkaline by adding sodium hydroxide-sodium carbonate buffer solution; a fourth step of adding a mixture coloring agent and mixing the resultant solution; and a fifth of defining exchangeable calcium amount by measuring light absorbance through the use of a spectrophotometer.
