PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water cleaning device for not performing the whole operation stopping mode caused by an overshoot of a hot and cold water combination valve. SOLUTION: This hot water cleaning device is not used for many hours, and when hot water supply piping 1 and a hot and cold water combination valve 3 grow cold, water is thrown away according to detection of sitting. A detecting temperature of a thermistor 5 suddenly reaches an upper limit temperature (46 deg.C) by the overshoot of the hot and cold water combination valve 3. When the thermistor detecting temperature merely reaches the upper limit temperature at this water throwing-away operation time, the whole operation stopping mode is not started so that water throwing-away is continued. When the detecting temperature of the thermistor 5 rises up to the upper limit temperature (46 deg.C) in cleaning operation, the whole operation stopping mode is started. When the thermistor detecting temperature reaches the upper limit temperature (46 deg.C) in water throwing-away operation and this state continues for t0 second, when the t0 second passes, it is judged as abnormal, the whole operation stopping mode is started.
