PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue the deletion request of a confidential ID to a specified confidential document by using an identifier for facsimile equipment, having a function capable of specifying the document on the receiving side by adding the identifier to the document to be transmitted. SOLUTION: The transmission side facsimile equipment equipment adds identifier for specifying the document together with the confidential ID, in the case of confidential transmitting and transmits the document to a receiving side terminal. When the confidential ID of the confidential document transmitted from the transmitting side facsimile equipment is deleted, the identifier added to the relevant confidential document is designated and a request to delete the confidential ID is issued to that document (Figure 3). When changing the confidential ID of the confidential document transmitted from the transmitting side facsimile equipment, the identifier added to the relevant confidential document and a confidential ID to be newly added are designated and a request to change the confidential ID is issued to that document.
