PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a repairing method for a reflection type liquid crystal display device by which a transparent circuit element in a reflection type liquid crystal display device is inspected with a visible light and a detected defective part is surely and efficiently repaired. SOLUTION: An interference figure which is generated by passing a linearly polarized light through a Nomarski prism 31 and an objective lens 32 whose numerical aperture is equal to or smaller than 0.24 and by irradiating a circuit substrate 10 becoming a sample with the linearly polarized light and by making its reflected light to be image-formed on an analyzer 33 is inspected and, then, the defective part of the transparent circuit element 16 of the substrate 10 is repaired by irradiating the circuit element 16 with a laser beam from a light source for working 41 through the objective lens 32. |
