<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a current transformer having an iron core with a gap. SOLUTION: A ring iron core 1 forms a gap inserting a spacer for transient characteristics. As the material for the iron core, a low-cost non-oriented silicon steel strip is used. Therefore, the permeability of the iron core 1 is reduced in comparison with that of an iron core using an oriented silicon steel strip as its material, but the dimension of the gap is reduced by that amount permiubility reduction to prevent the magnetizing inductance of the iron core from being excessively increased.</p> |
