<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a lead storage battery having an objective of improving high output discharge capacity, where short circuit between plates and lack of separator strength are caused by decreasing the distance between the plates by a separator having a glass fiber as the main body. SOLUTION: A separator 4 for the storage battery is composed by forming a second nonwoven fabric 5 on a first nonwoven fabric 1 using dehydrating rollers 3, where the first nonwoven fabric 1 is composed of a synthetic resin fiber, having a polypropylene as main body and the second nonwoven fabric 5 has, as the main body, the glass fiber composed of a dispersion substance 2 of glass fiber-acrylic resin fiber.</p> |
