<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil separating device and method capable of simply separating coils from the core without fail. SOLUTION: The coil separating device separating conductors from the deflection yoke for the cathode-ray tube comprises a retention part 12 retaining the core 20A and the cutting structure 14 cutting the coil 24 of the core retained at the retention part. The cutting structure 14 is equipped with the cutter 16 and the transfer part 18 serving in transferring and positioning the cutter to the coil side of the core and in further transferring the cutter along the shape of the core in order for the cutter 16 to cut the coil 24.</p> |
