PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader/writer having a barcode reading function capable of reading data by a single reading port whether it is a barcode or a data carrier. SOLUTION: Relating to reader/writer for reading and writing the electric signal of the data carrier 1 in an electromagnetic manner, a barcode reading function for reading data recorded by the bar code by means of a photoelectric reading head 12 is also given and a coil 3 for electromagnetic reading and writing is constituted surrounding the outer periphery of a translucent part S for seeing through an interval between the barcode 10 and the head 12. |
