PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately correct light quantity by generating accurate light quantity correction data for correcting the light quantity of every element of a solid exposure means in a real machine in an image forming device forming an image by using the solid exposure means, and to prevent stripe irregularity at the time of printing by preventing an optical pattern formed by a solid exposure element from getting substantially different from the optical pattern at the time of actual printing. SOLUTION: The optical pattern consisting of plural different gradations including the actual image forming pattern is formed at a correction value corresponding to the respective elements of the solid exposure means by an image forming means and read by a reading means. Based on the read information obtained in such a way, the light emitting level of each element is detected, the correction value of each element is calculated and stored. |
