PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mode setting and confirmation of the setting of an electronic camera. SOLUTION: A switch for setting the operating mode of the electronic camera is prepared as a rotary switch, symbols showing modes are added inside the knob part of that rotary switch, and further the rotary switch is located on the side face of the electronic camera.
