PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact probe for battery and connecting method thereof, which enables sure contacting with electrode terminals of a battery by using a four-terminal method corresponding to various sizes/shapes of batteries, and which also enables various inspections, using a general-purpose measuring apparatus. SOLUTION: Voltage terminals 11, 13 and current terminals 12, 14, capable of contacting with terminals of a battery 1, are arranged so as to face in a specified length with an interval therebetween. Contacting edge parts 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a are provided on the voltage terminals and the currently terminals so as to face generally in parallel between both terminals. A pressing means 5 is provided to move and pass through a surface including both of the contacting edge parts between both of the contacting edge parts. Then electrode terminals 2, 3 of the battery 1, which are arranged across the contacting edge parts 11a,12a, 13a, 14a of the voltage terminals 11, 13 and the current terminals 12, 14, are pressed between the contacting parts by the pressing means 5.
