The armrest unit (7) is able to be pivoted into the use position, from its rest position where it lies folded on top of the partition between the rear seats. In the use position, a screen is pivoted into a reading position on a support (15) such that it is at the right height for use. There is a rack (16) at the underside of the armrest for storing CD-ROM's etc., which is also deployed in the use position when the armrest unit (7) is in the use position.
