PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage cooling refrigerator capable of preventing temperature in a refrigerator from falling lower than necessary on storing cooling temperature inside the refrigerator without consuming much electric power. SOLUTION: A compressor 19 is constituted to maintain the refrigerator at a cooling temperature based on the detecting temperature of a refrigerator sensor. At the same time, an electric heater 15 is operated only at the case that the compressor 19 is kept inoperative, when a storage chamber is maintained at a predetermined temperature level by controlling the electric heater 15 based on the detection temperature of a storage chamber sensor 18. Thus, the electric heater 15 is never operated simultaneously with the compressor 19, resulting in preventing to consume much electric power making the temperature inside the storage chamber fall down lower than necessary.
