METHOD FOR PREVENTING DEGRADATION OF CONCRETE TUNNEL STRUCTURE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing degradation of concrete constituting a tunnel structure body regardless of the diameter size of the tunnel structure body to be constructed without causing diameter decrease of the tunnel structure body or impeding further progress of degradation of the concrete wherein degradation has already started. SOLUTION: An inorganic aqueous solution infiltrating deep into a concrete face and forming a water repellent layer to show a water absorption preventing effect is applied to the surface of the concrete tunnel structure body.
