PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system where a 2nd image processor can use an operation panel of a 1st image processor in common and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: The image processing system is provided with facsimile equipment 101 having an operation panel 102 for operation designation and display of an internal state and having a recording section 104 that records an image, and with a PDL processor 108 that is connected to the facsimile equipment 101 to share the operation panel 102 and the recording section 104 with the facsimile equipment 101, and a PDL operation display control section 111 sends/ receives a signal to/from the PDL processor 108 via a PDL interface 110 and to/from the operation panel 102 to apply operation/display control to the operation panel 102 on the basis of the sent/received signal. |
