摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead storage battery and its manufacturing method which enables strengthening of adhesion between a cutout part of a battery jar barrier and a connecting conductor, and a lid barrier and a connecting conductor, and also enables prevention of deterioration of airtightness and liquid-tightness of the adhered parts during use of the battery. SOLUTION: The battery comprises a battery jar 1, a plurality of electrode groups 6, and a lid 10, where the batter jar 1 is divided and formed into a plurality of cells 4 by barriers 2, each barrier 4 has the cutout part 3 on the upper edge, and the lid 10 has a barrier 11 on the lower surface. The electrode groups 6 are stored in the cell 4, and have connecting conductors 7, 7' which are extended from one side of straps 5, 5' extended in parallel with the battery jar barriers 2. Projections 8 are formed on the connecting conductor 7, 7' near the tips thereof, wherein the projections 8 are adhered to the barriers 2 with a primer therebetween and linked, by the cutout parts 3, with heteropolar connecting conductor 7, 7' of the electrode group 6, where the tips thereof are mutually adjacent. The lower edge of he barrier 11 of the lid 10 is adhered to the upper edge of the battery jar barriers 2, and adhered to the upper surface of the connecting conductors 7, 7' inserted into the cutout parts 3 with a primer therebetween.</p>
