摘要 A mechanically operable, actuating device for opening a pneumatic pisto n valve towards the inside of the fuselage of an aircraft. This device moves a shaft attached to a piston valve, moves downwards to expose an opening in the fuselage. The open position allows smoke from a fire in any area of the fuselage to be expelled outside the open porthole through the Flexible Hose Assembly Tubing Faucets and shut off valves. Other Hose connections are crosses Hose connectors and hose Hose Assemblies. The smoke expulsion is achieved by the huge pressure differential insid e the plane and the outside forcing the mixture of smoke and pressurized air outside. When an aircraft is on fire while landing at the airport: Firefighters will attach The Storz Acceptance Unit to hoses that have Sto rz Receiving Adapters which will permit water to be sprayed on the escapin g passengers. Smoke expulsion detection and water injection will be computer controll ed from the flight deck with a back-up unit in the cabin.
