PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a copy operation using two or more sets of image forming devices accompanied with accounting, even when a mechanical counter is not mounted to all devices, and to perform accounting without fault. SOLUTION: When a tandem copy function is selected, a centralized control part 39 reads a document in a scanner part 38, and stores image data into a image memory part 40. An external controller 49 reads the image data stored in the image memory part 40, and sends them to two sets of image forming devices 35 and 36 as data for printing. The printing is performed in each printer part 41 and 47. When one key counter 50 is mounted on either of two sets of image forming devices 35 and 36 or when both of key counters 50 and 51 are mounted, the accounting is performed by the centralized control part 39 and the external controller 49 by using one or both key counters. |
