PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately detect the position of a leading wave in a delay profile. SOLUTION: The time intervals (τ1-τ13) of the sample values of the delay profile are measured. The position of the sample value (sample value (h)) immediately after the maximum time interval (τ8) among the measured time intervals is detected as a leading position. The position where the sample value first becomes a peak (position of sample value (j)) after the detected leading position is detected as a leading wave position.
