PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate orders which are received at random to a kitchen in the order of customers and to rearrange the orders so that preparations for cooking can be made in the order of the customers. SOLUTION: In an article setting table of an electronic cash register, article name information 21, unit-price information 22, and position number information 23 are set. When an order is received, the quantity of a corresponding article in an order form is marked and the order form is read by a mark reader connected to the register. In another method, a slip or receipt where a customer number or receipt number is entered is handed to a customer when an order is received, the order contents and ID number are sent to a controller in a store by inputting the number to the register at an order counter or by using a portable terminal, and the ID number is passed to the customer and is read at the order counter and collated by the controller. |
