PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a color PDP (plasma display panel) preventing deterioration in a phosphor to be caused in the course of heating processes such as burning, sealing, etc. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the color PDP comprises a process 9 for coating a binder-containing phosphor paste on the base plate, a process 10 for coating a low melting point glass paste on the base plate, a process 11 for thermal decomposition the binder by burning the coated base plate, and a process 13 for sticking together at the prescribed distance a pair of base plates including the burned one and for sealing the same in an oxygen atmosphere.
