<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an entry estimated time for a target to enter a warning region and a leave estimated time for the target to separate from the region by the number of arithmetic operation times of a fixed range without using a map memory in a target-detecting apparatus. SOLUTION: A target focus equation means 5 is set for determining an estimated linear equation of a target locus from a position and an advance direction of the detection target at a time point when the target is noticed, and also an outline equation means 7 is set for determining an outline equation of the warning region. An entry/leave position-calculating means 6 is arranged for obtaining coordinates of intersections (an entry point and a leave point) between an estimated line and the outline from both equations. A distance-calculating means 8 is set for calculating a distance between the intersection and the target position, and an entry/leave estimated time-calculating means 9 is set for calculating the time to the entry point and the time to the leave point from the distances and a velocity of the target.</p> |
