PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating device for stably maintaining performance without causing the insulation film of a motor that is built into a compressor to be subjected to hydrolysis even if a refrigerant with R32 as a main constituent is used. SOLUTION: Since water in a refrigeration circuit is absorbed by polyvinyl ether oil with water absorption properties as refrigerating machine oil, the insulation film of a motor that is built into a compressor cannot be subjected to hydrolysis easily even if the temperature of the compressor becomes high due to the usage of the refrigerant that consists of R32 simple substance. Also, by setting the amount of saturation water at a temperature of 30 deg.C and a relative humidity of 80% of polyvinyl ether to 5,000 ppm or higher, the tensile strength retention of the insulation film of the motor that is made of PET or PEN that can be machined easily can be set to 50% or higher, thus preventing the insulation film from deteriorating and hence avoiding the failure in the compressor and stabilizing the performance of the refrigerating device for a long time.
