PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube treatment device and its manufacturing device being able to proceed with the raster aging without using the electron beam deflection means, to stabilize the emission characteristic in the cathode-ray tube and to improve the breakdown voltage characteristic. SOLUTION: The cathode-ray manufacturing method and the treatment device to be used therefor has a working process of impressing different voltages to the cathode-tray tube from a plural number of the power sources, EH, EK, EC1, EC2, EC3, Eb under a first condition that the electron beam outgoing from the cathode radiates the fluorescent screen 7 in a defocused state, under a second condition that the electron beam emitted from the cathode does not reach the fluorescent screen, and under a third condition that the discharge occurs between the cathode and a first grid.
