PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water heating system enhanced in heating power and reduced in temperature rise of the system by arranging a hot-water heat exchanger in such a way as to sandwich therein its exhaust lid from above and below. SOLUTION: The heating system comprise a burner 11, a combustion cylinder 17 communicating with the burner 11 for conducting combustion exhaust gas, an exhaust lid 21 covering the end of the combustion cylinder 17 for collecting the combustion exhaust gas and conducting it to an exhaust gas channel and a hot-water heat exchanger 26, which sandwiches a hot-water pipe 26 between the exhaust lid 21 and an exhaust-gas lid weight 27 for exchanging heat with hot water. As a result, the system can be improved in heating performance since the hot-water pipe 26 is protected from heat dissipation and can be reduced in temperature rise of its body since hot water circulates on the peripheral surface of the combustion cylinder 17.
