PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable-displacement-type gas compressor for reducing influence due to the change in hysteresis of a discharge displacement rate for the duty ratio of a displacement-varying mechanism, and its displacement- controlling method. SOLUTION: A table is prepared, where the table is used to obtain an actual duty ratio that is required for securing the inner volume of a compression chamber 17 corresponding to the ideal duty ratio from the ideal duty ratio.
