PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain lever having a shoe closely mounted on an arm without a gap to solve the problem caused by floating of the shoe. SOLUTION: This chain lever comprises a metallic arm 13 having a projecting curved surface at the upper part, and the synthetic resin-made shoe pressed to a chain and integrally connected to the arm 13. The radius R2 of curvature of a circular-arc inner peripheral surface 10 of the shoe 14 contacting with the upper part of the arm 13 is set a little larger than the radius R1 of curvature of the projecting curved surface 12 of the arm 13, whereby the shoe 14 can be closely mounted on the upper projecting curved surface 12 of the arm 13 without a gap.
