摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flexible joint part connecting structure preventing formation of a clearance caused by the radial dislocation of connected structure bodies to sufficiently protect a water stop structure from a fire or the like in a tunnel. SOLUTION: This connecting structure for submerged caissons 2, 2 is provided with water stop rubber 3a, 3b for stopping water of the mutual connection part of the submerged caissons 2, 2' from the outside, and a fire resisting means for thermally protecting the water stop rubber. The fire resisting means comprises fire resistant plates 4, 4' provided along the inner peripheral walls of the respective submerged caissons, and an end insert member 5 connected to only either one of the submerged caissons to serve as the junction of the fire resistant plates between the submerged caissons. The fire resistant plates are provided in the state of the end parts projecting to the connection part, and the end parts of the fire resistant plates are respectively inserted loosely into the end insert member. A cavity between the end insert member and each loosely inserted end part is packed with a ceramic blanket 7 without a clearance.
